Zaid Hameed is a Nonprofit Operations & Governance Strategist with over a decade of leadership across faith-based, cultural, and educational institutions. As Co-Founder and Board Secretary of Muslim Culture Con (MCC), he spearheaded the organization’s initial strategy framework, strategic planning, bylaws development, and policy amendments, while directing program development and project management for two national retreats for young adults (ages 18–35).

As Executive Coordinator at Crescent Club, Zaid manages board operations and strategic institutional partnerships, including a donor-advised fund partnership with the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. Additionally, as Member Services Manager at Alternate ROOTS, he leads regional network operations, CRM data governance, and grant administration across a 400+ member coalition, leveraging systems-building expertise to strengthen organizational capacity and cultivate emerging leaders.

A dedicated creative director and educator, Zaid is the Founder of Morally Xound and Director for Islamic Community Space, driving live program delivery, venue negotiations, and digital media strategies for Muslim community programming—including open mics, learning exchanges, dialogues, skate, and game nights.

Within education, he instructs foundational and advanced Qur'anic Tajweed at the Islamic Learning Institute (ILI) and directs Administrative & Student Services for the Islamic Leadership Training and Development Program (ILTDP), overseeing cohort admissions, academic pipelines, and Masaajid relations. Grounded in mutual consultation, Zaid specializes in building transparent infrastructure that elevates institutional missions and sustains community leadership pipelines.
